Description:

The Network Engineer will collaborate with quantitative researchers and developers.  The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent troubleshooting skills and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Expertise in Linux
• 4+ years of experience managing common network devices, preferably Arista
• Success designing large-scale networks, preferably in financial exchange colocation environments
• Familiarity with all of the following:

1) AWS, AWS Advanced Networking

2) Packet capture and analysis tools like tcdump and wireshark

3) At least one programming language (preferably Python) for basic network analyses and testing

• Track record of collaboration with application developers (with experience working with financial professionals a plus)
